1990年代後半に発売されたDIATONE DSシリーズの最終型にあたる
ZXシリーズのフラッグシップモデルDS2000ZX。
入念にレストア修正を行いました。

エンクロージャーは鏡面ピアノブラックに塗装を行ったカスタム品になります。
DS2000ZXは
元々密度が高く分厚いバーチクルボードを使用し、エンクロージャーの共鳴を極力抑えた設計となっていますが
鏡面塗装を施すことにより音の粗さが取れ、さらに洗練された鳴りをお楽しみ頂くことができます。
外見の美しさだけではなく音質面での満足度の高い1品に仕上がっております
（現在、当方ではバックオーダーを数多く頂いておりまして、新規での鏡面塗装は承っておりません。
大変貴重なスピーカーかと思いますので、鏡面塗装のDIATONEをお考えの方は是非ご検討ください）

また同時に入念なギャップ調整を行っていますので、歪みのないスムーズでクリアなサウンドが得られます）

本機の音の要となるボロン振動板も割れのない良好な状態のものを選定して採用していますので

振動場にはアラミッドハニカム振動板を採用しています。曲げ剛性が高いハニカム材とスキン材に軽量で高い強度と優れた振動減衰特性、高弾性率を有する芳香族ポリアミド系の有機繊維アラミッドを採用しています。さらに、アラミッド繊維にレジンを特殊配合することで樹脂自身に大きな内部損失を持たせて成形することに成功しています。これにより大きな厚みと音速を得ることができ、振動板に起因する歪を最小限に抑制しています。
また、磁気回路にはADMC-m(advanced Magnet Circuit-music)を搭載しており、有限要素法を用いた磁界解析によって入力信号から発生する磁界の影響を抑え、低歪化を実現しています。

中域には6cmドーム型ミッドレンジを搭載しています。
振動板には結晶質ダイヤモンドに次ぐ高い比弾性率を有し、しかも適度な内部損失を持つB4C(ピュアボロン)を採用しています。この素材は成形に高度な技術が求められますが、ダイヤトーンでは15,000℃という高温でプラズマ溶射したB4Cをさらに不活性ガス雰囲気中で高温焼成することで振動板としています。
